Fefco 0203 | Heavy Duty Standard Box

Please note, this box arrives pre glued (glue flap to the inside of the box)

Interactive 3D Model of a 0203

The 0203 box style is designed for extra protection, especially for heavy or protruding products. Unlike the 0201 style where the flaps meet in the middle, the 0203 style features outer flaps that fully overlap. This overlap enhances the box's strength and durability, making it suitable for shipping heavier items or products with parts that may otherwise poke through standard flaps. Like the 0201 boxes, 0203 boxes are shipped flat and require taping on the top and bottom for assembly.

This is a very similar concept to the 0201 style, the difference being that whereas an 0201 box flaps meet in the middle of the box, the 0203 style outer flaps ‘fully overlap’. This gives extra protection to the product and can help with heavy products. It can also help with products that might have parts that can protrude through the box flaps. Again, these are shipped flat and just require tape on the top and bottom of the box.

UK Packaging EPR

What is the EPR packaging charge?

EPR is a UK Government scheme that makes businesses contribute towards the cost of dealing with household packaging waste.

GOV.UK explains that EPR:
“shifts the end-of-life costs of household packaging waste from taxpayers and local authorities to the producers who place packaging on the UK market”
Read the official EPR guidance on GOV.UK

When Quickbox supplies empty packaging, we are normally responsible for the EPR cost, so an EPR contribution will be added to your order.

The charge may not apply if:

If either of these applies to you, complete our short EPR declaration on the sign up page and we will apply the correct EPR treatment to your account.

The charge helps Quickbox recover the costs we have to pay under the Government’s EPR scheme.
