What makes customer service really ‘great’?

The title pretty much speaks for itself – it is the level of service you give to your customers. While you would think this surely should just be a given for any business, we often find that customer service is anything but great!

So often it’s frustrating!

We have all used the big companies for our TV and internet, our utilities, and insurances. How frustrating is it when you are unable to speak to someone, or put on hold and passed from one department to another, only for the problem to remain unresolved? The same goes for companies that don’t have an actual advisor you can phone and speak to, but just a list of stock questions and answers. Then they don’t come back to you if your query doesn’t fit into one of their ‘categories’.

Service always matters, and packaging is no exception.

Life is busy and when a company is working on getting their products to market, it is usually the outer packaging that is the last piece of the jigsaw. Therefore, when a customer is almost ready to hit the go button, we are here to take the hassle away and make their packaging experience as stress free as possible. We are also here to make sure all questions are dealt with in the shortest possible time, resulting in a smooth process from enquiry to order.

But what makes customer service really great?

At Quickbox we pride ourselves on our customer service excellence. We prefer to have Raving Fans and not just happy customers! Our team has a vast array of knowledge, and we will always go above and beyond to make our customers’ box ordering experience both simple and enjoyable. We would be mortified if we felt a customer had a grievance of any kind and was unable to speak to someone about it. We will always go the extra mile to help, strive to see things from the customer’s point of view, and most importantly, listen to what the customer has to say.

Establishing successful relationships through great customer service.

So, in conclusion, there is an old saying that ‘the customer is always right’. This may not necessarily always be the case. However, by simply listening to them and talking to them, it can go a long way to achieving a happy and productive relationship for both companies, and to me that is truly great customer service.
